When I was shopping for my smp I tried on the black and my first though was "looks just like a Rolex" at the time that turned me off because I wasn't looking for another Rolex copy. I swear I see 2-3 rolexs a day on my way to work.
Now I've begun to like the Black SMP. Black is a classy color no doubt about it. Though I still like my Bond and wear it every day.
Got a few complements on my Bond over new years by people close to buying watches. It's a more classic clean look than many brands. A lot less money than Rolex and without the "check me out I'm a rich a-hole" vibe that rolex puts out.
Personally I have a bit of Rolex envy that creeps in every now and then. This web site is my best defense against dropping money on a Rolex.
