Re: Yes, It's Applied to the Inside...

My Speedmaster had anti-reflective coatings on the inside and outside....until I sent it in for service. Now it's only on the inside as they polished the AR coating on the outside away. Before I could see light scratches in the AR coating but no longer. And there's much more glare now.

: I just re-read the ofrei description and it
: doesn't specifically say that the coating is
: on the outside, merely that this cloth is to
: be used to clean sapphire crytals coated
: with the anti-reflective coating: "The
: anti-reflective coating that Omega uses on
: new Sapphire glass crystals can be damaged
: if cleaned with an ordinary cloth like a
: Selvit cloth. Omega has released this blue
: microfiber cloth for cleaning Sapphire glass
: that have been coated with the
: anti-reflective material. This cloth is safe
: to use on all glass and plastic
: crystals."

: So, you mat be right, LCH. These cloths may be
: for jewelers who work on cleaning and
: repairing Omega watches.
