I brought a new speedmaster day / date model today and am very pleased with it. I prefer to see a larger second hand sweep across dial, so have switched on stop watch function, and have it running all the time. I asked the dealer whether this would harm mechanism / watch.. and he ummd and ahhd and so i am not sure i trust what he said as he didnt inspire confidence(he said should be OK). Thought i would check with the experts here before i do anything to damage my watch. Thanks for the help. mamas
