: uses a winder with his 2531.80 SMP (Bond)
Yes, me.
: and if so, two questions: -is the problem of
: the watch stopping while on the winder known
: already?
The only problem I've ever seen is people confused over how winding and power reserve on an automatic watch really works.
A watch winder will Never wind a watch fully from scratch. They are intended to MAINTAIN a good wind on a watch. So be sure your watch is not almost run down before you put it on the winder or it will certainly stop.
Read the Troubleshooting article in the OWNERS ZONE here for mor edetails on Power Reserve.
: -how many winds a day do you have your winder
: set up for?
Left mine on the factory defaults and they work fine.
