It's quite a challenge to pick between the two. But I think I would pick the Aqua Terra. I think the movement is superior, it has plenty of Water Resistance, and also has a Sapphire Caseback. It makes a nice transition between casual and dress, while I think the SeMP is more Sport/Casual. The Aqua Terra comes with a 3-Year Warranty (being Co-Axial Escapement), while the SeMP comes with a 2-Year Warranty. I would also consider getting the Railmaster.
I think the Bracelet on the Seamaster Pro is nicer.
The 2502.50.00 wears much larger than the Seamaster Pro. Consider the 2503.50.00 for a better size comparison.
