: Anyway, I tried on first the GMT and it sucked.

: protruded into my hand. That would hurt
: after a while. The bracelet's clasp was
: difficult for me to close and it had a
: rather gaudy "golden" omega square
: which looked out of place (since there is
: not gold anywhere on the watch.
: The Bond watch was next. I tried it on and it
: was PERFECT. It was like silk on my wrist.

: Rolex GMT Master II at other jewelry store.
: I'm am glad I did not. The GMT had the red
: and blue dial it was nice looking. But I
: always felt that a Rolex was a symbol of
: excessive wealth not smart buying. A Rolex
: to me now says "hey I have so much
: money I can buy this piece of steel for
: 5,000 dollars and justify it" Rolex was
: more of a compromise of comfort for style.
: The Omega is a understatement. Only people
: in the "know" will know it is a
: Seamaster. It is a unique look but nothing
: like a distinctive Rolex.
: I work Downtown Cincinnati Ohio and some areas
: are pretty rough. I can wear the Seamaster
: anywhere and not be worried about someone
: killing me for it. Rolex's can be magnets
: for the wrong kind of people. I want to
: project a feeling of prestige but not money
: A Rolex is like wearing cash on your wrist.
: You can probably get at least 500 dollars

: In closing the Seamaster Bond watch was the
: watch for me. I saw it 5 years ago and have
: loved it ever since. I am glad I am finally
