Hi, everyone, Newbie here. I recently purchased a vintage Omega Seamaster De Ville on eBay and it just arrived. The seller did not know much about the watch (bought it from a pawn shop that was going out of business), although from the pictures it appeared to be in VG+ condition. Now that I have the watch (BTW my estimate of the condition was about right) I did some investigating on the Omega Site, and from what I can tell it appears to be a 1958 cal. 562 or a 1965 cal. 565, gold plated over SS case.
I would like to get it overhauled and serviced, and also have it opened up so I can get all the information on the case back and movement. In addition, there are a couple of small dings and dents I'd like to have taken care of. I work in downtown New York City and was wondering if anyone could recommend a good place to get it serviced in my area. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
