Hey thanks for the response. I'm leaning toward the midsize based on trying it on a while ago.
I'll go to one of the recomended dealers if my dealer won't match the discout. Though the tax savings from shipping out of state may make ordering the watch worth it.
I may insist my local dealer discount down more to replicate the tax savings and if he can't I'll walk. Though one thing about buing from a local place is that if something goes wrong I know just who to yell at.
: I got the mid size (36mm) after deliberating
: for ages and am very happy with it. I have a
: 7" wrist. A lot of people would advise
: the larger size but it is personal
: preference. Probably more than 50% of sales
: people in jewellers advised me to go for the
: larger one... mostly, I suspect, to try to
: get me to take their 39mm stock off their
: hands. (My mid size had to be ordered in, so
: I know it's brand new and not handled or
: dropped by hundreds of customers). Anyway,
: spend some time with the watches on and use
: a large mirror to get the overall look. I
: just wanted mine to look like a watch, not a
: WATCH, if you know what I mean. It looks
: normal.
: BTW I have the black as well - I love it. Good
: choice!
: If you are in the US, there is a dealer
: recommended by a lot of people on this and
: other forums. Email Keith Downing for a
: referral.
: Good luck.
