: The 21st James Bond film will be entitled
: "Casino Royale," which also was
: the title of Ian Fleming's first James Bond
: novel, published in 1953.
TRUE. There has just been an official announcement on Feb 3rd 2005 of the TITLE and DIRECTOR. Anything beyond that -- including who will play Bond -- is still just rumors and speculation on the Internet and in the media. So I would not trust any other detail you might hear just yet.
: Any news on watch in the movie?
: Will it be Omega? Will it be an SMP?
Waaaaaaay too premature to know this, as the actor has not been selected and the movie is still not in any way planned in enough detail for costuming to be worked out. The costume director will decide which brand/model would be appropriate when outfitting the new actor.
I'm sure OMEGA hopes as much as we do that it will still be an OMEGA watch.
