Re: globe mark on back
In Response To: globe mark on back ()

: I bought a seamaster pro from an authorised
: dealer afterward I noticed a globe with the
: omega sign stamped into the back. is this
: mean that it was previously serviced even
: thought the little red dot on the back is
: still in tact or is this the mark that
: replaced the star that used to be on a few
: of the older omega. I was told by the
: salesperson that it was new. I bought it at
: Fred Meyers jewelers the only authorized
: Omega dealer in my city

Within the last year or two this globe started showing up on Bond SMPs. People have guessed that is there to make the watch harder to fake.

I got my SMP over a year ago and it has the Globe
