Interesting concept, i suppose why not? it would certainly make one's watch unique. I suppose purists would argue that this would make a frankenwatch.. but not if the manufacturer would offer such a service. Certainly this could be something that omega could market.. and may attract some of the ghastly bling crowd, so that they could put diamonds/ emeralds etc etc on their watches.
I would keep my two tone AT as it is, as not a great fan of power reserves myself.. as they only clutter the clean dial. Might do away with clear back..prefer a solid back myself..
