A bad Idea for who? For me the customer I think it would be a great Idea.
There are already more fakes out there than people can buy of Omega and every other watch brand. As long as people keep buying then the fakers will keep making them. There are some fakes that you can't tell the difference on now without a close examination. I don't see how Omega allowing me my PR would change this.
It woulden't be chaos Just like it's not chaos that I can customize my car, computer, clothes. I'm sure it would up the price but what can you do...
