the 861 Movement is a slow train compared to the modern 1150 and so the second hand does move a little slower but should be constant the best way to check is make the hand go up hill IE hold the watch upright at 12 let the hand come round too 9 then turn the watch upside down (6 o/clock now at top) if the hand stops for more then 1/2 second then the chrono may not be setup correctly.
