"Legend" question

I have purchased a michael schumacher legend Omega along with a nice limited white face apollo 11 speedmaster for my father.

The real question here is this..

Omega gives the legend a 3301 movement...
according to the owners manual the crown should have 3 pullout positions.

here is the stickler, I thought mine might be a problem, but i checked 5 other legend watches in the DC area at certified dealers, and they all have only 2 pullout positions.

3301 movement states that the first pull out is for winding, 2nd is for date changes, and 3rd is for time adjustment.

when i went to wind up my watch because i hadnt worn it in about 2 days, i noticed that there was no 1st position winding set up, 1st was date, 2nd was time.

any hints as to what could be the cause of this? is this unique to this model?

I dont check this forum very often and if someone could email me with a solution at
thomasj.sullivan@gmail.com please let me know.

thanks
