I, too, prefer the Seamaster line. I like the Speedmaster, but I tend to agree that they are a bit more expensive than a comparable Seamaster. I have one that was given to me by my wife as a gift. She knew I liked the Omega line, and that the Seamaster was the choice for me. ;-)
I now have a Seamaster Professional Diver 300M, but I'm starting to see more people with them now for some reason. I was recently in a meeting when a client of ours mentioned that he had the exact same watch, so apparently I'm not alone in this regard. :)
