: Please forgive what can only be described as
: neurotic attention to what is probably, in
: the long run, irrelevant detail...

I've had my GMT for over a year now, and this detail is thoroughly annoying me, so much that I tried to change it one evening, equally thoroughly scratching the case and bending the bezel. Now I consider painting it black. So much for neurotic attention.

: Does it annoy anyone else that Omega uses
: different fonts (type faces) at different
: locations on the same watch? I think the
: most salient example of this is the
: so-called James Bond: the numbers on the
: bezel are a much different style than those
: of the date wheel.

It's even worse with the GMT.

While the fonts of the words 'GMT', 'CHRONOMETER', in the date window, and on the bezel of the Seamaster resemble each other in my opinion at least superficially, the completely different Helvetica on the GMT's bezel doesn't resemble anything.

I don't mind 'OMEGA' and 'Seamaster' having different fonts, as they are in my opinion closer to logos than to words.
