1993 was the year that watch model came out!
It is not unusual for watches to sit in inventory a while before they get sold. These are expensive items that do not have a high turnover in most stores.
Often you hear of NOS watches. These are "new, old stock" which are exactly that--watches that are still new but have been stuck in a stock inventory somewhere for a long time. Sometimes ever for many years after that model had been discontinued.
But 12 years is the longest I've heard of for a recent model OMEGA.
