That was the one I wanted too, and I searched a LOT for it with various dealers. Couldn't find one at all, and I'm fairly sure there are none left that are new. I wouldn't touch a gray market one with a 10 foot pole, so I got a 2293.52. The movement in it is better than the 2298.80, and I am totally pleased with mine. I got it through the mail from Jim Gianforte at Continental Jewlers in D.C. at a good price, and he even had one in stock when I called.
On your wrist, the watch is VERY unobtrusive to anybody who doen't know watches, and unmistakable to anybody who does. Seeing as it's all titanium, it's about as bombproof and immune to corrosion and gunk as anything around.
Like I said, I wanted the 2298.80 in the worst possible way, and I'm a totally happy camper with the 2293.52.
