When advising someone on authenticity, never guess at facts like that.

We appreciate you trying to help. But guessing is bad. It may financially hurt someone if you guess wrong and they end up buying a fake based on incorrectly believing that you were knowledgable on the subject.

In particular, you are quite incorrect this time. There never has been a black dial version of that model.
