Re: Grey market Dealers
In Response To: Grey market Dealers ()

It is a good deal for Omega why would they want to stop. Omega gets the same price but does not warrantee the watch. They tell the dealers that they are doing all they can to stop it, but do nothing. Would you if you had this deal going? Why do you think so many dealers are dropping the Omega line? On top of all this there service and parts delivery if horrible. Just think how much sales would drop if they did stop. I purchased a Seamaster Chronograph Titanium 2298.80 for $1668.00 new two years ago from a grey market dealer, the watch had all papers and a serial #, it lists for $3400.00. If I need service a complete job is $380.00 US. I would still be way ahead. It is 2 ½ years and is runs + ½ sec. per day. I made out fine.
