Re: automatic question

Inside one of the wheels is 2 small clicks which when the wheel moves one way hold the wheel to wind and when the rotor weight moves the other way the other click holds the wheel so to allow the watch to wind. The mainspring power curve is line going straight up at first the it plateau’s out then at the very end again goes straight up modern mainsprings have a lot longer plateau then the old ones that why you see old watches with fusee this was a way to get over this curve problem. So looking at the modern watch you will find that at the very top of the wind and at the very bottom of the wind you will find a difference in the time keeping but as with all watches depending on the quality of the watch will depend of the difference in time keeping. The power reserve on an 1120 is 42 hours so in normal ware this should not be a problem
