Well that watch fell about 6 feet from the top of our Laundry machine while I was in Sauna.
It fell to the bathroom floor, which is made of tiles. Since the tiles are not perfectly even the point of impact may have been throttled down. However it only speaks for Omegas mechanical watches, especially the Seamaster Pro series, if such event does not harm the watch.
I am sure that most cheap mechanical watches not had survived that incident. Even if the watch only features 2000 or 3000 G's, it should still be sufficient. Not to mention the sapphire crystal, practicially indestructible.
