I went through several current model Speedies including three anniversary models and a moonphase before going vintage. I was reluctant to wear the "mint" watches for fear of blemish but fell in love with the older models.
Consider going with an older one as a daily wearer. Note that you can buy a "for real" moon watch (105.012 or 145.012) for about the price of the current "moon watches".
