: Can anyone give me their opinion on the Omega
: James Bond model watch.
I like the watch and have owned the 2531.80 full size Bond automatic for over two years and am still quite happy with it.
Are there any specific aspects of it would you like an opinion on?
: I am also getting very fustrated whether or not
: to buy a quartz or an automatic.
Well, if you have read the zOwie Seamaster FAQ, you know most of the technical differences. Beyond those, go with what works for you without regard to other people's opinions. The quartz is the most practical becuse it will be more accurate and doesn't have to be worn regularly to keep it going.
Yet, some people find the classic nature of a mechanical watch to be intellectually facinating. You don't really see a difference (other than how the second hand moves), but still some of us enjoy knowing that there is a different technology going on inside the watch.
