: Acutally I have a question about the steel
: bracelet. You mentioned you've owned yours
: for two years, do you wear it daily and how
: bad are the scratches/wear on it?
I wear it pretty much daily and it does not look bad. But that is because I use a cheap trick to clean up the clasp.
WARNING: The following procedure can really screw up your watch if you do not understand what you are doing!
I simply use a medium grade 3M ScotchBrite scouring pad. I use it ONLY ON THE BRUSHED STEEL part of the finish, and only by brushing exactly with the grain of the brushed steel.
Make sure you do not hit any of the polished steel finish. Keeping exactly straight on the grain is essential. Practice on an old spoon or other steel utensil before trying this on your watch.
