When I bought my SMP, the authorised dealer I bought it from offered to re-size it free of charge if need be.

Within a few days I realised the watch was too tight, and he duly stood by his promised and re-sized it for free.

Assuming you bought it from a reputable, authorised dealer, I suggest you take it back and ask them to do it for free. If they have got any common sense they'll do it on the hope that you'll be so impressed that you will go back to them when you want to buy your next Omega!
