..>> first - it's quartz, second - Omega's SS tends to scratch easily but you can solve it the Derek did or just leave it as it tends to develope it' sown grain. If you are buying it because you think it's a tough watch then think twice. It can break like anything else, especially if it's not cared for correctly. I use a G-shock when I'm to chicken to test the toughness of my watch. Derek and his FAQ give you a well rounded view of the quartz/automatic comparison. The final decision is up to you.
