I'm tempted to just say "Hell No!", but seeing as I don't know what the chemical composition of Omega gaskets actually are, I can't say that with complete authority. (I am a organic chemist.)

Apart from that, I think the chances of anything happeing are incredibly remote. Fact #1 - that blue stuff out there in the ocean isn't a mixture of pure distilled water and salt - it is a pretty much uviversal soup of every ionic species and halogen in the periodic table. Sodium chloride just happens to be the biggest component.
Fact #2 - chemical reactivity is a function of both temperature and pressure, and if you raise either one the reactivity increases enormously. The SeMP (including its gaskets) is good for 30 atmospheres of pressure, (1 atm = 15 psi) which means it can stand up to EVERYTHING in seawater at 450 PSI.

I keep my SeMP on my wrist (with the crown screwed into place!!) in seawater, fresh water, the shower, the pool, the hot tob, and green beer on March 17th.

By the way, the worst that can happen if you keep it on your wrist and manage to put your arm in something that can eat through the gaskets is you wind up with a watch that needs to be fixed. If you start taking a really nice four figure watch like an Omega SeMP off your wrist for various special circumstances, it could "evaporate" and you would wind up with no watch at all!
