I recently purchased an Omega Seamaster that is somewhat unique to my understanding. It is the dark blue wave face, with Limited Edition expertly engrave in script on either side of the crown (on the side of the case). The watch is No. 8711/9999. It has the polished bezel, skeleton hands, and is an automatic full size 41mm watch. It has the solid wide loop links, not the oder style hollow core type. I have heard that this watch ORIGINALLY came in a Tank Box, meaing something that resembled a diver's tank, but I am not sure.
Does anyone have any information about this particular limited edition Seamaster? Thanks!
