laden gold - and you send me back ready to be machined blanks - at no charge. How is a machine shop going to recycle the material? It's NOT cost effective. Yes, the gold gets recycled, of course, but not back into the next watch case..... I have spoken with master tool and die makers that have worked with precious metals, they don't work in the machine the same. You think the machine can work at the same rate with the same tools as steel? Nope.
