Authorized dealers in Germany present their watches with the official list prices only. I suggest that you just walk from shop to shop (Wempe, Christ) and see how much you can negotiate. Only since a couple of years ago has the German government loosened its old rebate law from the early 20th century that didn't permit bargaining for prices. Therefore you will still find some stores that will categorically not want to bargain with you. They will argue that the prices are fixed. Bargaining has not been common in Germany in the past several decades, but things are slowly changing, especially since the poor economic situation that they are experiencing there. If you are looking for a really good price, then I suggest that you shop somewhere else instead of Germany.
