Re: Need Help With Watch Decision: Omega vs. Rolex

I had the same situation occur and just yesterday sold my Rolex. I purchased both because I could not make my mind up. I preferred the feel of the Omega as opposed to the Rolex on my arm. The Omega feels as if it is a higher quality piece, though that is debatable as we have seen here time after time. The Omega runs just as well as the Rolex and makes the same statement, other than the oohs and ahhs I got from the Rolex, based on the name alone. I now wear a Seamaster Chrono Pro in steel and would not part with it for anything. They are great daily wear watches and will take abuse like nothing else; oppinion of mine. I wore the Omega all over the Middle East to include one tour in Iraq and she never failed me. Quality is so debatable that I won't even get into it. Wear both and go with what feels the best is the best advice I could give, though when you do it close your eyes and go with your gut feeling. Good Luck! Regards, adam...
