Omega SMP 300 - Can it be manually wound?

I finally got my Omega SMP 300M thanks to the advice of the people on this forum. I love it so much and it looks great. I was wondering after reading the manual it says something about manually winding the 1120 movement but with the SMP 300M its an automatic. So can you manually wind the watch by unscrewing the crown and winding it in the correct direction? Sorry for the ignorance but I am learning everyday :)
