Yes, I agree. While titanium is more durable or harder than SS, it will still scratch! I used to sell titanium watches and I have seen it. Having said that, it boils down to personal preference once again. Some folks prefer a "dull gun color" over a brighter SS as well as the practical feature of a lighter watch . I prefer SS in watches and quit enjoy the heft of a high quality watch.
In my opinion, if the price were equal, I would still go stainless.
