Re: Good prices in Germany - where?

Hi again,
If only Greece was not so far from my country! I also have lot of experience negotiating in Greece, especially in various jewellries. I would say the same about super friendly people (not only in shops) there.
I can tell you short story about AD in Prague - there are 4 of them, yesterday I visited 3 of them, I wanted to see (and buy if good price) DeVille chronograph black dial, steel. Only one dealer had DeVille chronograph in stock (white dial), and no one other seemed very willingly to order them. One of the dealers was telling me obvious nonsenses (about a diameter of the case of DeVille 4531.51.00 chronometer and chronograph 4541.50.00), trying to convince me that they're the same. As you might know, there are 3,5mm difference, as a the chronograph are bigger. The reason was I tried to wear DeVille chronometer and thought it's a bit smaller than chronograph, but the dealer was arguing there're the same. After a while I left the dealer's shop, as I don't like to waste time like that. Also other dealers here in my city are not very friendly, so that's the reason I'm trying to find other AD, even abroad. It's not only price reason (the list prices are for some strange reason higher in my country than in Germany or Austria). Why to give money to people that seem to be bothered by doing their's job?
Marty
