Planet Ocean - Worth The Money?

Now that we know the Planet Ocean will retail for $3195, I'm wondering if I'm the only person who thinks it is WAY overpriced. For the extra $1200 cost above the cost of a standard SMP, all you get is 600M water resistance (for the very few who actually need it) and the co-axial movement. Consider the Bond GMT co-axial model...for $100 more you get the GMT function and a sapphire caseback. The Aqua Terra line has the co-axial movement but they are substantially cheaper, so I simply can't justify the cost of the Planet Ocean.

For the first time in my life I must admit I strayed from Omega for my latest watch purchase. I settled on the Breitling SuperOcean as my new watch (I just ordered it). At $2150 retail it has 1500M water resistance (more than twice the Planet Ocean) and costs more than $1000 less. I also got the same "deep discount" I would have received on an Omega from an authorized Breitling retailer. It bothers me that Omega "priced me into their competitor's lap", especially since I had high hopes for the Planet Ocean.
