I think it is over priced too, considering the additional features over the standard SMP at $1995 retail. Maybe $400-$500 over the standard SMP would have been justified, but not $1200. I feel that the Bond GMT co-ax is a more interesting and attractive watch than the Planet Ocean.

By the way they are pricing these watches, it would seem that we will never see a standard SMP 300 co-axial model. That would be a sweet watch in my opinion!(with applied markers of course)

For about the same money as the Planet Ocean, I would rather have the SMP chronograph. The movements in the SMP series are rock solid and I cant justify the additional cost for the Planet Ocean.
