Sometimes you just get lucky and receive a watch that is "perfect" from the factory or, in your case, one that has been adjusted perfectly.
My DeVille co-axial still amazes me. I hadn't reset it since Standard Time began in October. When I changed the time to Daylight Savings Time in April, the watch had gained all of 20 seconds!!! Most mechanical watches gain more than that in a month, let alone six months. By contrast, my Swatch quartz watch gained 45 seconds during the same period. I guess I was just lucky to get such an accurate watch.
