: Were you wearing your DeVille frequently all that
: time? What year is your watch?
My watch was bought in 2004, though I don't know if it was actually manufactured that year. The watch sustained its accuracy through a combination of my wearing it and being kept on a watch winder at all times when not being worn. My DeVille has the power reserve indicator on the dial, and it never went below 4/4 (full power reserve) during the whole six months. I have several automatic watches that I wear, so the DeVille may have been worn once every 3-4 days or so. Still, to maintain that level of accuracy during a combination of wearing and being kept on a winder is pretty hard to beat. None of my other watches come close to its accuracy.
