Any suggestions for a quick come back to friends and colleagues who say, "Nice watch. How much does something like that cost?" I don't like 'getting into it' for the next ten minutes when I tell the truth but I don't want to lie or seem confrontational either. I've found trying to sidestep the issue just prompted people to run to the nearest computer terminal (damn technology!) and look it up. This made it worse. I've gladly 'gotten into it' with only three people: 1 wearing a Breitling, 1 wearing an Omega and 1 wearing a Rolex. Funny thing is that price never came up initially with any of these people. This must come up with some of you. What do you say?
Also-I made my 'dream watch purchase of a lifetime' not even a month ago figuring this would finally cure me but I'm already seriously looking into a Deville CoAxial GMT. If I get this next one it'll all stop..right?!!!
