For the answer to the NUMBER #1 most frequently asked question here--for details or value of a specific older Omega watch you have--go to: Tell Me About My Omega. | Learn more about How To Include Photos and HTML In Your Postings. | To contact someone with a question not relevant to other readers of the forum, please click on their email address and contact them privately. |
Here in the US I use an authorized Omega retailer who gives 33% off MSRP (this dealer will not ship overseas). If you choose to buy on ebay you have no way of inspecting the watch to make sure it is geniune or in the condition the seller describes. You have to be VERY careful if you choose to buy from a seller on ebay.
You can buy from "gray market" dealers on the internet, but they don't offer the Omega factory warranty and sometimes sell pieces with serial numbers removed. They will often discount 30-35%, but you don't get the factory warranty. Only by buying from an AUTHORIZED Omega retailer can you be certain to get a genuine watch with a full factory warranty.
