Yeah - the Smith 500 pretty much proves that Omega SeMP's are built to last. I shot a DE 50AE for 4 years before I got the Smith, however, so I had "worked up" to those recoil levels over a period of several years. As far as a real "luxury ownership experience" that is equivalent to my Ti SeMP that is on the left side of my body, go to www.guncrafterindustries.com to see what's on my right side. I'm doing some load development for the owner of the company, and I have suggested as one slogan: "Think of it as a Rolex that could save your life!" (:>) The recoil isn't nearly as bad as the price!
