The caliber is an original Omega 1481, with serial # 36484196 (I'm realizing that it takes a better photographer than me to show that in the pics, but I can see it eye-naked thanks to my 8-dioptries myopia ;) ).
Regarding the date numbers, yes, from day "10" to day "31", all the "units" numbers are slightly taller than the "decimals" numbers. It is clearly noticed in this other picture, with the "22" date.
Inside the back cap there aren't any inscription, nor outside the case (on the lugs, etc.), so I don't know if the case is 9, 14, or 18-carat gold. Other Omegas I have have stamped a "750" inside a triangle, on the inner side of the back cap, denoting that they are 18-Kt cases, but not in this one.
