While our loss of Derek is a terrible tragedy, continuation of Derek’s work will honor Derek’s tremendous commitment to the international chronographic fine watch community, as well the endless computer and personal support he offered many of us outside the chronographic community over the last three decades. It will honor Derek’s spirit of caring and support – and will further his goals of providing quality information for those who with interest in chronographic watches.

Thank you to Mr. Jeffrey M. Stein (http://www.onthedash.com) and Mr. Chuck Maddox (http://onthedash.com/thanks.shtml) who have agreed to perpetuate Derek’s work by keeping the www.ChronoCentric.com website up and running.

Thank you for sharing your remembrances of Derek here and for your kind words, thoughts and prayers for his widow, Stella, and for his parents, Jim and Martha Ziglar: they are greatly appreciated – and we will make sure they are all shared with the family.

Thank you for your wishes that Derek be at Peace.

On behalf of his Atlanta community of life-long friends: thank you for appreciating the very special and unique spirit that was Derek Ziglar. We will surely think of him, miss him and honor his memory – always.
