Well, I'm not collecting in the true sense of the word (actively searching and purchasing new watches).
I only have been receiving "family watches" (my grand-grandfather's, my grandfather's, my father's an my uncle's) since I was 20. As three of they (less my grand-grandfather's one) are Omegas, really it seems to have been a non-written tradition to "add one Omega" to the roster (I'm pretty sure that any of my relatives have done it consciously, but I liked the idea and I will add "mine" later this year).
This are my three Omegas. From left to right: 30MM of 1948; Constellation of 1966, and Genève of 1972/73. Below is my grand-grandfather's pocket watch: a Bernardi (spanish manufacture) of 1910's.
