Re: Need help on identifying valid crown styles

: I've noticed with vintage Seamasters and
: Constellations available on eBay that there
: are a good deal of variations on the crown
: styles. My question is, what are the
: original crown styles that Omega issued for
: Seamasters and Constellations in the 50's
: and 60's?

: Also, I have a Constellation with a recessed
: crown. I expect that it won't match the
: standard crown styles, because it has to
: rotate freely in the embedded case socket.
: However, the Omega symbol is engraved or
: "punched", rather than embossed
: (raised) as on all of the other crowns I've
: seen. Is this an original part or some
: aftermarket piece?

: Is there a website someone can reference here
: for finding out proper Omega crown styles
: for various years? It would be much
: appreciated. Thanks!

Constellation crowns are 10 sided. I recall seeing a post on this subject and would suggest searching this and other Omega sites for this question.
