I am partial to Seamasters, but due to budget constraints I can only afford to own a vintage 60's De Ville:
I just love the beautiful symmetry of the De Ville with double bars at 3, 6, 9, and 12 positions, and no date function. It has luminous dots at the minor hours and on the hands--still quite bright for the age. Plus, the silver linen face gives it a simply stunning elegance I've not seen on any other comparable watch for this price. I paid $300 for this beauty a few months back and when it is put to rest overnight in alternating positions, I average +/- 3 seconds per month.
