to answer your question about which models have sapphire casebacks. The Aqua Terra models have them (including the Railmaster). The "Bond" Seamaster GMT model 2535.80 and the DeVille chronograph models have them, but standard DeVilles do not. I don't own any Speedmaster models so I'm not sure which models may have a sapphire caseback.
