Once again Bailet Banks and Biddle gave me an erroneous figure of 60%. I suspected the "old" cost of 50% of MSRP was correct since this came from a reliable local retailer. However, BB&B told me it went up to 60% after the April 2004 price increase. Of course, they wouldn't discount more than 15% off MSRP so they probably tried to make their costs look higher.
By the way, yesterday I was browsing their store in the mall and the sales girl tried to convince me that the original Moon Watch had a sapphire crystal but the one they had in their case wasn't the "real Moon Watch" since it had a plastic crystal. I tried SO hard not to laugh.
