You are lucky to have a BB&B with someone who knows watches. All of the salespeople I have met at BB&B's throughout the country are really jewelry lovers who see watches as just "pretty bracelets with a dial and hands".

BB&B tried to convince me that the Bond SMP was going to be discontinued years ago. Now they're "experts" on the Moon Watch. They were also very pushy last year when they had a "special sale" and could offer me 20% off on a DeVille. On a $4495 watch I certainly wasn't going to accept a mere 20% discount AND pay sales tax. Thankfully I do have a reputable local dealer with a knowledgeable watchmaker available during all business hours. They don't discount much, though, so I tend to look at watches there in person and then order from my own dealer.
